MODEL 2100 DLS WITH HIGH-LEVEL SHUT-IN

High-Level Shut-In is available for all Model 2100 Digital Level Sensors (DLS). Stainless Steel, Fiberglass and RU Flex sensors offer this option.

With the addition of a third float, the Model 2100 DLS with High-Level Shut-In provides two digital outputs: one for a high-level alarm, and one for a high-level shut-in. This is all accomplished with two distinct circuits: one for normal continuous level and temperature measurement, and the other for high-level alarm shut-in.

The high-level alarm shut-in requires no power and, unlike competitors’ sensors, is not affected by power outages.

Accurate & Versatile

High-level alarm requires no power and is not affected by power outages

Integrated test device allows for required testing of the high-level shut-in feature at any time without opening the tank hatch

Stainless steel parts treated with e9  Treatments Metal Pro antiparaffin solution for minimal maintenance

No ongoing calibration needed

Measure and monitor up to two levels, eight temperatures, including high level overflow protection with a single device

Rugged, Reliable, Accurate

These digital level sensors are suitable for production monitoring, inventory control, leak detection (in stagnant tanks), high-level alarm and well shut-in. Communications to SCADA systems can be digital or analog and the DLS works with many wireless systems using Modbus RTU protocols and ASCII.

An integrated test device allows for required testing of the high-level shut-in feature at any time and provides the added safety benefit of not having to open the tank hatch. A Teflon-coated string attached to the third float provides a means to manually raise the float and trigger the high-level output/alarm.

The Model 2100 DLS effectively measures levels of fluids with multiple densities:

  • Crude oil

  • Condensate

  • Frac Water

  • Kerosene

  • Diesel

  • Gasoline

  • Salt Water

  • Fluids in separation tanks and pressurized vessels

  • And many others
