The Model 2110R1 Barrier Device is an intrinsically safe device that actively limits current and voltage to protect the Model 2100 Digital Level Sensors (Model 2100 DLS, RU Flex 2100 DLS, and Model 2100 DLS with High Level Shut-In) from power spikes and to maintain the sensor’s intrinsic safety. The device conforms to UL 913 Intrinsically Safe Apparatus and Associated Apparatus for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations.
