The Model 1000 Level Sensor is a patented digital measuring device for detecting the levels and temperatures of fluids in tanks.The Model 1000 can be made with up to 2 floats and 8 temperature sensors for reporting liquid level and temperature readings inside the tank. The level is determined by reed switches inside of the sensor which are activated by magnets carried in the floats. This means that a digital level is read along the entire length of the sensor, with reliable and repeatable readings.

Communications are via RS-485, allowing multiple sensors on a single network. This device is supported by several accessories, ranging from communications adapters and handheld terminals to specialized PC interface software. With Electrolab's many years of experience in the level sensing industry, we have developed the Model 1000 to be accurate, durable, and reliable, and it shows - the actual failure rate for our sensor is less than 1/10th of 1%. Our sensor is so reliable that it carries ETL, UL-913, and CAN/CSA 22.2 no. 157 approval, and has been accepted by the Texas Railroad Commision for custody transfer measurement.
