HHC-1000 Hand-Held Communicator

Overview

Ease of DLS Configuration and Service

The HHC-1000 Hand-Held Communicator is used for field service and configuration of our Digital Level Sensors (DLS). A simple, but powerful interface, and a compact design make this handheld a viable alternative to using a laptop or other device for maintenance and configuration.

Powered by four "AA" batteries, the HHC-1000 generates only 12V 70mA power for a single sensor. Connect an external 12VDC power source for communicating with multiple sensors. When external power is used, the HHC-1000 may communicate to all sensors connected to an RS-485 network.The user-friendly interface allows you to configure the:

  • Sensor address and baud rate
  • Number of floats
  • Level and temperature offsets
  • Two- or four-wire RS485 interface
  • 1200 and 9600 baud rate

An automatic power-off feature after three minutes of inactivity contributes to the unit's low power usage and helps protect battery life. The LCD front panel display with back light and contrast adjustments provides for visibility and readability in all environments.
