Originally known as Electrolab's Anti-Paraffin Treatment, our e9 Treatments are patented anti-paraffin applications making on-going maintenance of our Digital Level Sensors (DLS) and High-Level Probes practically non-existent. e9 Pro Metal Treatments provide a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating which significantly reduces paraffin buildup on steel instrumentation and ensures ongoing measurement accuracy. All metal components of Electrolab level sensors are treated with e9 Treatments Pro Series Metal Treatment.

e9 Treatments are Electrolab's patented nano-technology applications designed to help overcome the challenges associated with paraffin build-up on stainless steel components of crude oil storage tank instrumentation and other metal assets. This unique material becomes covalently bound to the metal surface to form a permanent, stable chemical bond that reduces surface tension and effectively inhibits the ability of heavy hydrocarbon admixtures, such as paraffins and asphaltenes, to adhere to these surfaces. The result is better performing equipment that is easier to clean and environmentally safe, is stable in continuous exposure of up to 250 degrees F, and is highly resistive to abrasion and wear under normal operating conditions.
